Nokia, the brand which once used to have dominance over whole mobile phones market… is back to the play ground with a new yet powerfull flagship smart phones, The Nokia 8. Launched in August of 2017 this smartphone has already created a splash in the smartphone market. The phone comes with a 5.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels at a PPI of 554 pixels per inch.
The Nokia 8 is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The  memory department is handled by 4GB of RAM. The phone comes with 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 8 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 13-megapixel front shooter for selfies. For powering the device, Nokia inserted a massive 3900mAh non-removable battery. It measures 151.50 x 73.70 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 160.00 grams.
HMD Global has finally decided to plunge into the dual-rear camera trend. The phone has a vertically stacked set of dual rear cameras (13MP Colour sensor with OIS + 13MP Mono sensor), and there’s a front 13MP camera all well. Nokia 8 has PDAF, IR range finder, dual tone flash on the rear camera, and yes there’s the Zeiss Optics branding as well that used to be standard on older Nokia phones.
Like most other dual cameras, the Nokia 8 is capable of shooting a bokeh mode, for portrait pictures where the background is blurred.

The Nokia 8 however won’t be a cheap smartphone. The Nokia 8 will cost around USD 700 when it goes on sale in September. The expected UK price is £600 and although there are currently no plans for it to reach the US or Australia yet, Nokia said that it’s keen to sell the phone in both countries.  IF it came to Nepali Market it will cost  around NRS 74000. 🙂 🙂 🙂
